When Three Lions captain Harry Kane missed a last-second penalty to win the World Cup quarterfinal, the French attacker smiled sarcastically.

But Mbappe reacted favorably on social media after England and Portugal had exited the Qatar World Cup.

Dismissed by Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, appeared to accept that his greatest lingering dream—Portugal winning the World Cup—can’t be realized under him and made a suggestion that he is thinking about his future on the international stage.

Mbappe used the GOAT emoji in his social media reply to the post.

Mbappe offered a heart emoji in response to Rashford’s post declaring that England had given all.

The odds are now in favor of France keeping its 2018 victory.

They take on Morocco, who unexpectedly defeated Portugal, while Argentina plays Croatia in the other semifinal.

Mbappe is also on pace to win the Golden Boot with five goals.

Ronaldo who was a Second-half substitution left the field early with tears after Morocco’s 1-0 triumph.

Later, he said on his social media pages that: “Winning a World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career. “

“I fought for it. I fought hard for this dream.”

“In the 5 presences that I scored in World Cups over 16 years, always alongside great players and supported by millions of Portuguese people.”

“I gave my all. I left everything on the field. I never turned my face to the fight and I never gave up on that dream.”

“Unfortunately, yesterday the dream ended. It is not worth reacting hot.”

“I just want everyone to know that much has been said, much has been written, much has been speculated, but my dedication to Portugal has not changed for an instant.”

“I was always one more person fighting for everyone’s goal and I would never turn my back on my teammates and my country.”

“For now, there’s not much more to say. Thank you, Portugal. Thank you, Qatar.”

“The dream was beautiful while it lasted… Now, it’s time to be a good advisor and allow each one to draw their own conclusions.”

Although shorter, Rashford’s own statement was similarly sincere.

The Red Devils’ star player entered the game in the 85th minute, shortly after Kane had missed a second chance to tie the score from the penalty spot.

Rashford then shared the following message with his 13.2 million Instagram followers after France knocked out England with a 2-1 win: “The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions, each and every one of our team gave everything we had to be ready for what was thrown at us, we got close, but not close enough.”

“I’ll make a promise that we will come again! Thank you for the unconditional support we have received throughout the tournament, it hasn’t gone unnoticed.”

Rashford Urges Kylian Mbappe To Win The World Cup

Despite England’s heartbreaking loss to France in the World Cup quarterfinals, Marcus Rashford offered a heartfelt message to Kylian Mbappe.

The defending world champions secured their spot in the round of four on Saturday night at Al Bayt Stadium with a narrow 2-1 victory.

Les Bleus advanced thanks to goals from Aurelien Tchouameni and Olivier Giroud as well as a failed penalty by Harry Kane.

After the final whistle, the Three Lions team was in a dejected state, and team members vented their frustrations on social media over the loss and the competition as a whole.

Players from all over the field responded to Rashford’s post, including Mbappe of France. The Paris Saint-Germain player left a message with a heart-shaped emoji, which Rashford also noticed.

“Good luck with the rest of the tournament brother! Go smash it king,” Rashford replied.

Mbappe wants to help Didier Deschamps’ team advance to a second straight World Cup final and win the championship for the first time since Brazil in 1962.

Despite missing out on scoring against England, the 23-year-old is the tournament’s leading scorer with five goals.
