Kizz Daniel expressed his desire to perform his popular song “Buga” at the World Cup in a tweet a few months ago. The fact that Kizz Daniel will now perform in the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA world cup in Qatar will seem to indicate that the universe has complied with Kizz Daniel’s request.

Kizz Daniel announced this information on his official Twitter account, saying that his requests to play during the World Cup have been granted.

With his track “Buga” becoming one of the top singles from the continent, Kizz has had a successful 2022. Following a successful “Afroclassic Tour” of the UK, US, Canada, and a few African nations, Kizz Daniel is planning to bring “Buga” to the biggest sporting event.

Qatar will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup from Sunday, 20 November until Sunday, 18 December. The fact that fans will be able to watch Nigerian artists play at the World, which is another high point for Afrobeats, will excite them even though the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the tournament.

Who is Kizz Daniel?

Nigerian singer and songwriter Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe is better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel. For his hits “Woju” and “Yeba,” he is well known.

Kiss Daniel was his previous stage name before he changed it in May 2018. In 2013, he agreed to a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment, but he later parted ways with the label after a highly publicized legal battle and contract dispute.

In November 2017, he established the record company Fly Boy Inc.

The Tanzanian authorities detained Kizz Daniel in Dar es Salaam on August 8, 2022, for failing to perform at an event. One of the Tanzanian businesses, the State of Vybes, arranged the event.

Kizz Daniel was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is from the local government of Abeokuta North.

He attended Abeokuta Grammar School and earned a degree in water resources management and agrometeorology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, in 2013.

He made the decision to combine his education with music while he was still trying to get a degree in Water Engineering.

He released a number-one single called Buga on May 4, 2022. George Weah, the president of Liberia, was among the famous people who participated in dance challenges to the song on Instagram and Tik Tok.

Personal life

With his enigmatic lover, Ovajoja, a Nigerian dancer and entertainment promoter, Kizz Daniel welcomed a trio of triplets on May 1, 2021: Jamal, Jalil, and Jelani. Later, as he bought a two-bedroom condo for Jalil and Jelani, Kizz told how he lost one of his triplets, Jamal, just four days after his birth.

FIFA World Cup 2022

The FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international men’s football championship played between the senior national teams of FIFA member countries, is set to take place for the 22nd time in 2022.

Qatar will host it from November 20 through December 18, 2022.

After the event in South Korea and Japan in 2002, this will be the second World Cup wholly held in Asia and the first World Cup ever to be contested in the Arab world.

Additionally, the tournament will include 32 teams for the final time; the tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada in 2026 will have 48 teams instead.

This World Cup will be the first to not be hosted in May, June, or July and to take place in the northern autumn; it will be played in a shorter timeframe of roughly 29 days due to the extreme summer heat in Qatar.

The tournament will take place from late-November to mid-December.

At Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, the opening game of the tournament will be played between Qatar and Ecuador.

The final is scheduled for December 18, 2022, which also happens to be Qatar National Day. France is the current World Cup champion.
