Early Life
Trippier was born to Eleanor Lomax and Chris Trippier in Bury, Greater Manchester. He was raised with his three brothers, Kelvin, Chris, and Curtis, in Ramsbottom, where he attended his Primary school in 2002.
Trippier later attended Woodhey High school and demonstrated excellent football skills. At Woodhey High School, Trippier honed his footballing skills and was part of the team that won the Bury Cup and the Manchester trophy.
Manchester United was the first club to spot the immense talent and potential of Trippier. Trippier’s parents, Eleanor Lomax and Chris Trippier are die-heart Manchester United fans, but Kieran Trippier was trained in the Manchester City Academy.
Kieran Trippier’s national team career
The 32-year-old plays as right back for the 3-lions of England. Trippier has made 37 appearances for the 3-Lions since he broke into the senior team in 2017. He has scored only one goal in his England national team career. Before making his debut for the senior men’s national team, he played at U-18, U-19, U-20, and the U-21 levels for the England national team.
Kieran Trippier’s club career
Kieran Trippier did not have a rosy ride with the Manchester City youth team after training with the club’s Academy. He was sent on loan to Championship side Barnsley before joining Burnley in 2011.
Trippier helped Burnley gain promotion into the Premier League in 2014. He later joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2015 after just a year with Burnley in the Premier League.
Trippier also joined the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in 2019, enabling the team to win a historic 2019-2020 La Liga title. Trippier currently plies his trade with Newcastle after signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club in January.
Awards and Honours
Trippier won the Championship trophy in the 2013-14 football season. He has emerged the PFA Player of the month in 2012-13 and Burnley Player of the Year in 2011-2012, including Barnsley player of the year in 2010-2011.
Trippier won the La Liga with Atletico Madrid in the 2020-2021 football season and FA Youth Cup with Manchester City in 2007-2008.
Family life and children
