Juventus have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta for an initial fee of €52 million plus €7 million in performance-based add-ons, according to reports.

Reports indicate that Juventus have booked medical tests for Teun Koopmeiners on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, if Atalanta sign all documents today, Teun will travel to Turin today, August 27, 2024.
Koopmeiners has all summer been keen on joining Juventus, and he will sign a five-year deal with the club, which will run until the summer of 2029.
Teun Koopmeiners was left out of Atalanta’s opening game of the new campaign, as the Bergamo-based club didn’t want to include him in their plans for the new season due to his impending transfer to the Turin-based club.
The Dutchman joined Gian Piero Gasperini’s side from AZ Alkmaar in August 2021, for a fee of €14 million.
Koopmeiners made 129 appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions.
Teun Koopmeiners was instrumental in Atalanta winning the UEFA Europa League last season, as they defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final.
Koopmeiners will become Juventus’ 8th signing this summer, having already secured the services of Douglas Luiz, Juan Cabal, and Khéphren Thuram.
Nico González, Francisco Conceição, Michele Di Gregorio, and Pierre Kalulu have also all joined the Bianconeri this summer on loan.
Teun Koopmeiners is mainly deployed as an attacking midfielder but can function in the central midfield and defensive midfield units.
The 26-year-old will be coming to Juventus to offer them more firepower in the midfield department.
AS Roma Sign Austrian Defender Kevin Danso From RC Lens On Loan
AS Roma have signed Austrian Defender Kevin Danso from French Ligue 1 side RC Lens on loan with an obligation to buy.
The Giallorossi will part with an initial fee of €22 million plus €3 million in performance-based add-ons.
Reports indicate that a deal has been verbally agreed between the involved parties, with medical tests expected to follow.
Danso will become AS Roma’s 7th acquisition this summer, having already signed Artem Dovbyk, Matías Soulé, Enzo Le Fée, Angeliño, Samuel Dahl, and Mathew Ryan.

Kevin Danso was amongst Austria’s contingent at Euro 2024, and he was impressive at the tournament under the tutelage of Ralf Ragnick despite netting an own goal in their opening group game against France.
Danso made 38 appearances for RC Lens in the 2023/24 season, scoring 1 goal and providing no assists in all competitions.
Kevin Danso has also notched up 3 appearances across all competitions this campaign, scoring no goal and providing no assists.
Cumulatively, Danso has made 117 appearances for RC Lens, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists in all competitions.
The 25-year-old joined RC Lens from Bundesliga side FC Augsburg in August 2021 for a fee of €5.5 million.
It will be fascinating to see how he fares at AS Roma, as they hunt for success in the 2024/25 season.
