Cristiano Ronaldo got a red card and that made him cry
Juventus’ best player, Cristiano Ronaldo got a red card and he was sent off in the 29th minutes of the match against Valencia. It turned out that the referee got the call wrong, but one of the greatest football players in the world was sent off anyways. Ronaldo slightly touched Valencia player Mauricio on the head after they both made contact in the box and it led to Ronaldo getting the first red card of his career.
The incident happened during a champions clash, a controversial red card for a slight push led to CR7 getting sent off the pitch. Ronaldo was unhappy with the referee’s decision, he cried before he walked off through the tunnel, and that marks the only red card of his career.
Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo was punished for receiving a red card during the Champions League match v Valencia. Ronaldo was forced to buy Apple computers for each of his teammates.
“Yes, we all have an iMac,” Szczesny revealed to Polish talk show Prosto w Szczene. “It took a very long time because he couldn’t process that red card and insisted high and low that he was not doing anything wrong. It took him a bit, about two months of arguing, but we all have received an iMac.” – Szczesny
