Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci will leave the Old Lady for medical on September 1, 2023 after joining Bundesliga side Union Berlin on a permanent deal.
The Italian will join Union Berlin as a free agent until June 2024 with an option of a further year.
The current Bundesliga giant have been busy in the transfer window after securing Kevin Volland and Lucas Tousart.
It was revealed that Juventus are going to pay 50% of Bonucci salary while at Union Berlin.
The defender trained separately from the Juventus first time in bid to find a new club.
He was no longer in Juventus plans as revealed by the Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli in the Press conference in July 2023.
Juventus Manager Massimiliano Allegri frozed the Italian legend out of the 2023/24 season squad.
While he was at Juventus, Bonucci made 502 appearances scoring 37 goals and creating 10 assists in all competitions.
