But the midfielder, who was given a week break went to Brazil and never returned to training. This made a furious Barcelona President, Josep Bartomeu to reveal that disciplinary action will be taken over the matter. He assured that there will be sanction over the ‘disrespect’ to his teammates and the club.

According to reports, Arthur had insisted on staying at the Camp Nou despite not getting regular playing time. He was urged to accept the swap deal to Turin. After initially insisting that he won’t mind his playing status at the club, Arthur, who joined Barca from Gremio agreed to a deal that will triple his current salary.

With few days to being officially Juventus player, Arthur as reported by Marca, via Football Espana has decided to return to Spain not to play for the club as agreed, but to come and negotiate an early contract termination.

    Arthur felt betrayed by Barca

Arthur, who won’t be able to kick a ball in Juve’s name until next month does not want to play for Barcelona again.

This is because the young lad felt ‘betrayed’ by the Blaugrana and pushed out of the club in order to balance the books and bring in Pjanic.

Another thing is his very negative rapport with coach Quique Setien, who had urged him to concentrate on his remaining games for the club before going to Italy.

Barcelona will resume Champions League action against Napoli on Saturday evening. The Catalan giant had played a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the round of 16 clash in Naples.
