Julian Nagelsmann’s girlfriend, Lana Wurzenberger has left her position at BILD following the coach’s shocked dismissal as Bayern Munch manager last week.
Julian Nagelsmann, the 35-year-old vacated his role as Bayern Munich’s head coach on Friday, 24th of March, 2023, after returning from a skiing holiday during the International break.
Following a brutal 61-minute meeting held by Bayern board, the former RB Leipzig coach was handed sack news and immediately replaced by former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel.
There has been much conjecture about the club’s motivations for his leaving, but last week it was stated that the players didn’t trust Wurzenberger because of his position at one of Germany’s most prominent publications.
According to reports, Lana Wurzenberger’s employer Bild confirmed on Wednesday, 29th of March, 2023, that she will be leaving her post as a regional Munich reporter and would be joining BMW from April 1st, 2023, as a spokesperson for the supplier network and sustainability.
Like Nagelsmann, who purportedly learned of his impending contract termination via social media, Wurzenberger has opted to go on a new professional path.
Bild further reports that Nagelsmann and Wurzenberger, who are clearly expecting a long and successful relationship together, are looking to build a home on the gorgeous Lake Tegernsee in the Bavarian Mountains.
With three years remaining on his contract, Nagelsmann is due substantial compensation from the German powerhouse Bayern Munich.

According to rumors that went viral this week, English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur are willing to appoint the German coach following the departure of Antonio Conte by mutual consent.
Tottenham was previously keen to hire Nagelsmann in 2019 and 2021 before he signed for Bayern Munich.
His immediate availability and the fact that he can be appointed without having to pay a release clause make him an attractive prospect.
According to an insider, Tottenham wants to begin talks with him as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte.
However, according to a German outlet, Nagelsmann will take his time before mapping out his next career move as he looks to get over his shocking Bayern Munich exit.
