Josip Ilicic has been a great cause of worry for his club Atalanta since he left the club for personal reasons. According to reports, he allegedly “caught his wife, Tina Polovina, in bed with another man” – Oh My Goal, however, all indications show that the report of the cheating allegation may be false.

The first report that emanated from the scandal was that the 32-year-old Slovenia forward was trying to quit football due to depression. However, the reason for the depression was not made public.

Oh My Goal’s video about the allegation.

The latest update from the scandal was that Josip Ilicic deactivated the comment section of one of his Instagram posts. He reportedly took this step in order to prevent his over 213 thousand Instagram followers from making any reaction related to the reported scandal.

The fact that the Atalanta striker has deactivated the comment section of his Instagram post was noticed in his most recent post which he shared on Sunday, August 2, showing a group picture of his club. In the caption, he simply wrote: “Grandi”, which is an Italian word meaning “Great”.

The club’s group picture was to show solidarity with him as he faces the toughest match of his life. Since he wasn’t there with them, his teammate held his jersey while they celebrate their third-place finish on the Italian Serie A table.
