Joao Felix Reveals His Dream Club Amidst His Uncertain Future At Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix has revealed that his dream is to join the current La Liga Champions FC Barcelona.

In Joao Felix’s latest interview, he claimed he would love to play for Barca.

He said: “Barcelona has always been my first choice and I’d love to join Barca. It was always my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, it will be a dream come true for me.”

Although, Barcelona are briefly interested in signing the player, but are not considering sending a bid to sign the attacker from Atletico Madrid in this transfer window.

With Joao Felix’s excellent ability in the Centre role, he will be a better fit in Xavi Hernandez’s team.

Atletico Madrid are demanding for €60 million to let the Portuguese join another club ahead of the 2023-2024 season.

Joao Felix spent last season on loan at Chelsea.

It was reported that Paris saint germain are also interested in signing the attacker.
However, they are not ready to pay the asking price of Joao Felix who they believe has the ability to replace Lionel Messi at the club.

Joao Felix is finding it difficult to get into the Atletico Madrid first team due to the fact that he doesn’t get along with the manager Diego Simeone who sanctioned his sales.

While he was at Chelsea on loan, Joao Felix managed 20 appearances scoring four goals in all competitions. The Portuguese received a red card in his debut against Fulham as a Chelsea player.

Although due to Atletico Madrid asking price, Chelsea were unable to sign him permanently after paying £11 million total package for his loan deal.
