Recently, the England international took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and her daughter Hope Lily-Mae, chilling in the living room. Hope was born in December 2018 and she is the only child of a short relationship Lingard had with 34-year-old Rebecca Halliday, an operations manager with a personal training firm in the United Kingdom.
Jesse Lingard met with Rebecca at a party in the city of Manchester. One thing led to another and they started dating. Months later, reports came out that she was pregnant for the Manchester United’s star.
In December 2019, the United’s star confirmed to his fans that he is a father by posting a picture of himself and the child on Instagram. The picture was to mark the child’s one year birthday.
The picture Lingard shared recently where he was seen chilling with the girl wasn’t to celebrate anything but just a confirmation that he still has access to the child despite not being together with the child’s mother.
Besides being a young man that is trying to grow his own family, the Manchester United’s star has been using his £100,000 weekly wages to take care of his first family – mother and two siblings. He has taken charge of the family since his mother started suffering an undisclosed medical issue.
Jesse Lingard in Business
In the other hand, the Manchester United forward has been trying to grow his earnings by venturing into other businesses outside football. In the summer of 2018, he decided to launch his own clothing line called “JLingz”.
On the launch of the clothing line tagged ‘Be Yourself’, he had his Manchester United teammates – Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw in attendance. Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling also attended the launching.
Besides footballers, Lil Baby and other musicians were on ground to thrill the fans. Dancers and football freestylers were also on ground to thrill the fans.
After all the fun part was over, it was now down to business. Unfortunately for the football star, he reportedly lost £200,000 in the first year of incorporating the clothing line.
On the flip side, Lingard spent this weekend sharing snippets of the 2018 launching of the “Be Yourself” range of clothes on his Instagram story. The United’s footballer has made himself the brand ambassador of the clothing line as he always posts pictures of himself wearing the clothes on Instagram.
