Manchester United attacking midfielder, Jesse Lingard seems to be using the ongoing two weeks FIFA international break to tour Europe since he was not invited to play for England.

In the last 24 hours, the 29-year-old English footballer has posted separate pictures of himself hanging out with social media personality Khaby Lame, Bayern Munich right-winger, Serge Gnabry, and AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Jesse Lingard shared the pictures at a period in his career his future at Manchester United seems uncertain. Recall that his contract with Manchester United will expire on June 30, 2022, which means that he has a few months to the end of his stay at Old Trafford.

Reports claimed that Manchester United had offered to extend Jesse Lingard’s contract but the English footballer has decided not to accept the offer since the club could not guarantee that he would play regularly.

From all indications, Lingard is set to leave Manchester United as a free agent in the 2022 summer but no one is certain about his next destination yet.

Hence, when he posted a picture of himself and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, his former teammate at Manchester United who currently plays for AC Milan, many started speculating that Jesse Lingard could join AC Milan on a free transfer.

Recently, AC Milan came to the rescue of Fikayo Tomori when he could not play regularly at Chelsea. He is now playing regularly at the Italian club which could be a great motivation for Jesse Lingard to consider a move to Italy.

Currently, Lingard who has scored 2 goals and provided an assist in 19 games in all competitions for United earns £50,167 per week at the Premier League club.

Aside from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Jesse Lingard took to his Instagram story to share a picture of himself and Serge Gnabry, who currently plays for Bayern Munich.

Gnabry started his senior professional football career at Arsenal. He could not establish himself at Arsenal for over four years.

Even when the 26-year-old right-winger went on loan at West Brom, he failed to impress anyone at the club. After a frustrating five seasons in England, the German footballer decided to join Werder Bremen where he impressed so well that Bayern Munich decided to pay €8 million for his services on July 1, 2017.

Gnabry was sent on loan at TSG Hoffenheim that same year before he returned to Bayern Munich in 2018. Since then, he has been able to establish himself at the German club.

Currently, Gnabry’s contract will expire on June 30, 2023, and Bayern Munich have been trying to renew his stay at the club. However, the contract talks have been dragging because Gnabry who currently earns £115,000 per week at Bayern wants to earn more but Bayern are not willing to accept his demands.

Hence, just like Jesse Lingard, Gbabry’s future is not certain. Recently, he decided to post a picture of himself wearing Arsenal’s old jersey which made many fans of the club to start anticipating Gbabry’s return to Arsenal.
