The Leicester man has one year left on his current contract at the King Power Stadium but had been identified by numerous Saudi Pro League clubs as a big-name signing.

Despite his efforts, Leicester City was relegated from the Premier League and will be playing in the Championship.

A lot of Premier League players have agreed to move to several Saudi Arabian clubs so far this summer, with Vardy being the latest to be pitched.

Edouard Mendy became the latest player to move to the Saudi Pro League when he left Chelsea to join Al-Ahli this week, after his former Blues teammates Kalidou Koulibaly and N’Golo Kante moved to the Eastern Side.

N’Golo Kante who was Vardy’s teammate at Leicester City has already signed for champions Al-Ittihad, joining the former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

Koulibaly signed for Al-Hilal, the same club that tried to sign Lionel Messi earlier in the summer following his Paris Saint-Germain exit.
