England star James Maddison has jokingly chosen between who he would prefer as an in-law between Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish.
The Leicester City star revealed the England player he would want his sister to date and marry and the one he will not accept.
James Maddison who is yet to make an appearance for the Three Lions at the World Cup, after nursing a knee injury, took to the media to jokingly air his views on two of his teammates.
The Premier League star was asked which of his England teammates he would like to be his son-in-law. Speaking on TalkSports, Maddison said, “The first one who springs to mind is Bukayo Saka. He’s just such a nice kid, man.
“You just get this relationship with him where he’s such a nice guy to everyone that you build such a good relationship with him.”
James Maddison added he if he had a sister or a daughter and they said to him, ‘I’m going on a date with Bukayo Saka’, I’d be like ‘enjoy yourself, let him pay, but enjoy yourself’.
But if they told him, ‘I’m going on a date with Jack Grealish’, I’d be like ‘nah you’re not.’
Saka and Grealish have managed four goals at the World Cup so far, with the Arsenal man bagging three and his Man City counterpart netting one.
Both are in contention to feature against France this coming weekend, but have serious competition for their places in the starting line-up.
Meanwhile, Jack Grealish is currently dating Sasha Atwood. Atwood has her own YouTube channel, called Sasha Rebecca, and currently has just over 45,000 subscribers.
It was on this channel that she opened up about abuse and death threats she received from the public following attention on her relationship with Grealish during the Euro 2020 tournament
On the other hand, Bukayo Saka, 21, is dating partner Tolami Benson. The 22 year old, who has been posting plenty of World Cup action on her Instagram stories, has reportedly been dating Saka since 2020. But until now, the pair have kept their romance pretty under wraps.
Relationship rumors between the two started flying last year, as Tolami posted a photo with someone wearing a mask, leading many of her 21.2k followers to speculate that it was Saka.
But it wasn’t until February that fans put the pieces together, as the pair shared separate photos of themselves on social media on the same yacht in Dubai, a location that seems to be popular with other WAGs.
Meanwhile, England will face France in their World Cup quarterfinals after they cruised to a convincing 3-0 win over Senegal.
France, on the other hand, defeated Poland 3-1 to set up a quarterfinal clash against the Three Lions. It is a repeat of the 2018 semi-final clash, in which France eliminated the Three Lions to reach the final and subsequently won the tournament.
Gareth Southgate will be aiming for revenge going into the game. Both sides boast of great quality, with France still tipped by pundits to take an advantage over the England counterparts despite missing some key players through injury.
