Jadon Sancho almost moved to Saudi Pro League following Al-Ettifaq’s interest but the United winger missed out on the move.
Al-Ettifaq wanted the Englishman on a season-long loan and United were also prepared to let him leave Old Trafford this summer.
However, recent reports have it that the ex-Borussia Dortmund star would not be departing Manchester United.
Reports also had it that the major reason why Jadon Sancho did not leave United was because the club wanted to insert an obligation to buy worth £50m.
Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq have already completed the signing of Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Demarai Gray this summer.
The club has also been linked with Mason Greenwood before Gerrard shrugged off those rumors and the United striker later joined Getafe on loan.
Foster stated that: “It’s absolutely crazy. If Alex Ferguson is the manager at this moment in time and Jadon Sancho does this, he will never see the light of day again for Man United.”
“He will never play for this club, he’ll never be allowed in the training ground. You are done mate, see you later.”
Jadon Sancho claimed that he has been made a ‘scapegoat’ by Ten Hag after being excluded from the squad which faced Arsenal on Sunday.
Ten Hag was inquired in the post-match interview about Sancho’s exclusion and he stated that the player has been poor in training.
Jadon Sancho said: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.”
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”
“I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and (am) grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge.”
“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
