Jack Grealish was part of an England star-studded football team who tried to conquer the world in the EURO 2020 but failed. England did so well to advance to the Euro 2020 finals just to lose to Italy in the penalty shoot-out. Jack Grealish took a few days off to stay away from social media before coming back to tell fans that everything will be fine, “we will rise again” Grealish wrote on his social media account.
He also shared a short video of the tournament showing England fans going to the games and him hugging his teammates.
The penalty-taking decision clouded the EURO finals for England, some suggested that maybe, Grealish may have told Garreth Southgate that he didn’t want to take the penalty. A claim that Grealish shut down by issuing a statement that it was the coach’s decision.
“I said I wanted to take one!!!! The gaffer has made so many right decisions through this tournament and he did tonight! But I won’t have people say that I didn’t want to take a peno when I said I will…“
England lost and Jack Grealish is here to console England fans that the team will be back, stronger and better.
Crouch asked whether or not he’d be willing to take one if it came down to it, and Grealish replied: “I’ll take one, defo. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t take one.”
