Van Nistelrooy has called for the fans to support the team despite their struggling state as they aim to achieve success in this campaign.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy also shared that he was saddened to see Erik ten Hag leave Manchester United after bringing him to the club.

Manchester United revealed in the statement confirming the exit of ten Hag that Ruud Van Nistelrooy will step into the team’s vacant managerial position on an interim basis.
The Old Trafford side also made it known that Van Nistelrooy will be supported by the current coaching team, whilst a permanent head coach is recruited.
Manchester United’s current coaching team includes assistant manager Rene Hake, first-team coach Darren Fletcher, set-piece coach Andreas Georgson, and goalkeeper coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar.
