Recent reports claim that Milan’s offer to Bayern is around €30m when all bonuses and add-ons are included, slightly higher than the previously reported figure of €25m.

Bayern on the other hand have not rejected the offer yet but are looking to receive slightly more for the 27-year-old.

Bayern Munich have reportedly valued the defender around €35m-€40m and will listen to offers when they get such offer.

Benjamin Pavard is in the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich and he is Inter Milan transfer priority in terms of defenders available in the market.

Pavard, a former World Cup winner, has informed Bayern’s CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen of his desire to leave the club this summer.

Bayern’s coach Thomas Tuchel has also been briefed on the situation at hand but has not said anything in regard to it.

Inter Milan have already signed defender Yann Aurel Bisseck from Aarhus this summer, but they lost Milan Skriniar to Paris Saint-Germain.

After losing Skriniar, they are keen on giving Simone Inzaghi another senior center-back option this summer.

How Will Pavard Fit Into Inter Milan?

Pavard was schooled as a center-back, where he mostly played for VfB, but he has been used in a variety of defensive positions, including holding midfield.

The defender has a history for winning the World Cup without ever losing a match for France – a run of 31 matches from U19 to senior level.

Aside from all these, Pavard’s versatility has helped make him indispensable, he’s resilient, and his goals are worth watching again and again.
