Indications have shown that Serie A giants, Juventus and Inter Milan are monitoring the situation of Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud at Stamford Bridge. The Italian media says both clubs want the Frenchman.

Juve has been struggling without Cristiano Ronaldo, whom the manager Andrea Pirlo decided to rest against Benevento and the game ended 1-1.

Giroud is known to be a player of character whenever he is on the pitch as he plays with the team. His shortcoming is just his pace.

Giroud celebrate goal

But the Bianconerri could make use of his physique as a god ball-winner who can invite other team members to play. The Frenchman is down the pecking order at Stamdford Bridge with Frank Lampard preferring Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner ahead of him.

Fortunately for him, Les Bleus coach, Didier Deschamp has always believed in the former Arsenal striker as he usually pair him with Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe.

Having such a huge player in the center forward could get Juve more goals as they continue to struggle each time Ronaldo is off the pitch.

The Juve team usually lacks personality, and Pirlo is planning to build the team around everyone other than what is seen now.

Although credit must be given to Alvaro Morata but he has been lacking the required service to bang in the goals.

Why Inter Milan want Giroud

Inter Milan boss, Antonio is also eyeing a reunion with the French striker at the San Siro.

Due to the form of Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner, Giroud hasn’t started a Premier League game for Chelsea this season, but he has played nine times across all competitions, scoring two goals.

It was gathered that Conte wants to use the 34-year-old as a back-up option for Romelu Lukaku. Lukaku recently returned to action after missing two games for the club. According to reports, the Serie A club wants Giroud on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy.

According to Tuttosport, Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik is also on their radar in case they failed to bring Giroud to Italy. The Polish striker has been on the fringe after failing to secure a move out of the club.

Conte already knows what Giroud is capable of doing. The former Chelsea manager brought him to Stamford Bridge in January 2018 from Arsenal before being sacked at the end of the season.
