Kylian Mbappe could be out for up to 4 weeks

Paris Saint-German has been left sweating over the injury to their star striker Kylian Mbappe; the striker joins Edison Cavani on the treatment table.

Kylain Mbappe suffered a nasty tackle as his PSG won their 13th Coupe de France against Saint Etienne, and has to walk in crutches.

Saint Etienne’s captain Loic Perrin lodged a nasty sliding tackle on the striker before half time of the between Paris Saint-German and Saint Etienne.

The Ref had initially issued the st Etienne captain Perrin a yellow card but changed it after viewing the incident on the VAR-monitor to a red card.

Futballnews gathered update that Kylian Mbappe’s injury wan’s an ankle ligament damage as first suspected; instead, it was a nasty ankle sprain, and experts say he could be out for up to 4 weeks.

The extent of the injury would be examined after 72 hours, which would give the swelling time to reduce. Still, he’ll most likely be unavailable for the remainder of Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League games.
