Last Sunday, he contributed to Spurs’ 2-0 home loss to Arsenal in the North London derby when he mishandled Bukayo Saka’s attempt.

And on Thursday at the Etihad, he mishandled a loose ball that led to Manchester City’s opening goal before Riyad Mahrez’s deflected strike beat him at his near post and allowed the visitors to come back from two goals down to win 4-2.

He also made a mistake on January 1st, the day Aston Villa shocked everyone by winning 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Lloris said; “I have no complaints. Being a professional, all you do is keep a beat. However, it is apparent that you miss mental clarity when you return from a World Cup where you were actively involved with the national team and played till the very last day. But you need to get going again and support your team.”

Hugo Lloris has caused Tottenham a lot this season in the Premier League as Antonio Conte’s men sit three points behind fourth-place Manchester United and fourteen points behind League leader Arsenal.

Tottenham, however, needs results as quickly as possible.

Another significant test of their determination will come on Monday’s trip to Fulham in the Premier League.

Tottenham has had little time to prepare, but they are desperate for a victory after losing six of their previous ten Premier League games.
