Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United this summer following the expiration of his contract at Old Trafford, which will bring an end to his six years stay at the Premier League club.

Earlier in May, reports claimed that Paul Pogba had held talks with Juventus over a return to the Italian club. Our sources told us he has been offered a deal worth around €220,000-a-week at a fixed rate, with lucrative clauses and bonuses added to it.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked, while Real Madrid have seemingly stepped away from the transfer saga after several years of speculations.

However, Juventus are in the driver’s seat as Paul Pogba has played there before and is free to negotiate with them right now, which he can’t do with Man City due to rivalry between City and United. Earlier reports claimed that the Serie A giants have offered Pogba a three-year deal worth €7.5m-a-year plus add-ons which could keep him at Juventus until 2025.

The Frenchman left Manchester United in 2012 to join Juventus, before returning to Manchester United four years later as one of the best players in world football.

He had won the Golden Boy award and countless other individual and team honors in Turin, all while building his reputation as a goal-scoring midfielder with excellent creative numbers. Sat alongside the likes of Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo, and Claudio Marchisio, Pogba caught the eye of Manchester United and they paid a world-record fee to bring him back to the club he left as a mere boy.

Injuries, manager changes, systematic problems, and a lack of consistent form all contributed to Pogba’s inability to reach the career height many expected him to hit at Manchester United, but his form for France suggests he is still a world-class player on his day and in the right environment.

Given how his talent was displayed so well at Juventus, the Turin side are keen to be reunited with the player as they look to offload some of their current midfield options. Weston McKennie, Adrien Rabiot, and Aaron Ramsey have all been linked with permanent moves away.
