Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung Min Son and his Tottenham teammates have predicted the winner of the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.
Before the commencement of their first training session this summer, the Tottenham Hotspur players interacted with the club’s social media executive about who would win the Euro 2024 final at the Olympiastion in Berlin, Germany on Sunday, July 14.
Heung Min Son gave his own prediction in favour of the Tottenham’s all-time highest goal scorer, Harry Kane. He said, “Spain, I think we have had an amazing tournament. But I wish England would win because Harry would win it. The best England player in history.”
Harry Kane is one of the biggest names in English football, and he is currently the all-time top scorer in the England national team. The striker has scored 66 goals in 97 appearances for the Three Lions since making his debut on March 27, 2015.
Kane was regarded as the biggest goal scoring instrument of the Gareth Southgate era. Currently, the Bayern Munich striker is the joint top scorer in Euro 2024 with three goals in six matches.
The English striker is focusing on winning Euro 2024, which will drive honors on his stellar career so far.
The striker has been consistent at the highest level for both club and country. Before he left the Premier League, he won three Golden Boots in the league.
During his playing time at Tottenham Hotspur, he scored 285 goals in 435 appearances. He joined the Bundesliga giant, Bayern Munich, last season for €100 million and was able to score 44 goals and create 12 assists in 45 appearances.
Harry Kane and Heung Min Son formed a strong partnership in the Premier League. The pair holds the record for the most goal combination in the history of the Premier League with 47 goals.
It will be difficult for any Premier League duo to break the record set by Son and Kane.
In 2020, Heung Min Son scored four goals against Southampton, and they were all assisted by Harry Kane.
Since Kane left the club, Son has been saddled with the responsibility of scoring goals for Tottenham Hotspur. He ended the 2023–24 season with 17 goals in the Premier League.
