On-loan Man United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has said goodbye to his teammates at Bramale lane after his loan at the club officially came to an end was spotted at Old Trafford returning to his parent club in Manchester.

The keeper was reported to have been in talks with Manchester United official to sign a new contract, and talks between the two camps seem to be moving smoothly as a new contract extension would be announced soon, with a pay rise and a guaranteed place in the first team.

In contrast, back up goalkeeper Sergio Romero is reportedly wanted by Chelsea, and the Red devil could be tempted to sell while a move to Spanish club Sevilla is in the pipeline too. Some say the argentine is more than willing to force his way out of the club as he was angered by his treatment after he was left on the bench for the semifinal match against Sevilla in a tournament he considered his birthright.

Some sections of the UK media say Henderson could earn up to £100,000-per-week when he signs his new contract with the red devil as the manager considers him a future number one at the club and are ready to do anything to keep a hold of him.

Dean Henderson signed a two-year loan contract with the Rams in 18/19 and helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League playing 46 times with 21 clean sheets; he was a starter for the team in the Premier League also with 36 league appearances and 13 clean sheets. He won the club’s young player of the year award and the championship golden glove award during his time with Sheffield.

    GUINNESS WORLD RECORD HOLDER

On the flip side, he holds a Guinness world record for the fastest time to dress as a goalkeeper, and the most football headed pass in one minute, I guess De Gea’s going to have to beat those records if he wants to keep his number 1 jersey.

Henderson posted an emotional message on his social media page.

“I would like to thank the manager, my team-mates, the backroom staff and of course, the fans, who have been unbelievable towards to me.
“I will look back at the last two years as an important chapter in my career and more than anything, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and develop with such a class group of lads.
“I can’t wait for the next chapter! Once again, thank you for everything! Once a Blade, always a Blade!”
