Harry Kane is still struggling to find a house despite his remarkable start with Bayern Munich in Germany.
The England captain has broken the record for most goals in a player’s first ten Bundesliga appearances and has scored 15 league goals for his new club.
Despite this, the 30-year-old Kane and his wife, Katie, have been staying at the luxurious Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Hotel in Munich, which is known for hosting celebrities since 1958.
The former Tottenham captain has been living in a £10,000 per night suite at Munich’s Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Hotel since August.
The hotel is located in the center of Munich and is a short drive to the Allianz Arena, where Bayern Munich will host Galatasaray in the Champions League tomorrow.
Since arriving, Kane has run up a £1MILLION tab at the hotel, but with the hotel’s five-star accommodations, the amount is not a surprise.
According to DailyMail, the hotel offers a butler service and access to luxury brands like Purity Chocolate and Krigler perfume.
In addition, guests can also enjoy an exclusive BMW test-driving experience.
Harry Kane’s suite is located in the historic wing of the hotel and includes a separate living room.
It features two bathrooms made of Carrara marble, silk curtains, designer furniture, six televisions, and other high-tech amenities.
The room reportedly costs £10,000 per night, but with his £415,000-a-week contract with Bayern, Kane can easily afford it.
According to The Sun, the former Tottenham striker, in his search for a new home, prioritizes finding a place for his wife and children due to his family-oriented nature.
A source told The Sun: “Harry is a family man so finding somewhere to be with his wife and children has to be a priority.”
“But it’s clear he’s been able to keep his mind focussed on his game because he’s had an incredible start to his Bayern career.”
“If his house hunting is half as good as his goal-scoring he’s going to end up with a palace. Not that his hotel is too shabby.”
The hunt for a lavish mansion in Grunwald
Ahead of his lucrative switch to Bayern in August, Kane was preparing to move to a lavish mansion in Grunwald, one of Germany’s wealthiest towns which is dubbed the ‘Bavarian Beverley Hills’.
Luxury mansions in the town sell for between £10m to £20m and most of them are hidden behind high hedges and trees.
However, the England forward and his family have yet to find the perfect house in Grunwald.
What’s next for Harry Kane?
The 30-year-old striker netted his third Bundesliga hat-trick on Saturday, November 4, during Bayern’s 4-0 triumph over rivals Borussia Dortmund.
He has been highly impressive for Bayern Munich, registering 15 goals and five assists in his first 10 appearances for the club.
Kane’s next appearance will be in the Champions League, where Bayern Munich will host Galatasaray for their second-leg match after defeating them 3-1.
The game is set to take place on Wednesday, November 8 at 9 p.m.
