Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane does not want to talk about speculations linking him to a move out of the north London club until the end of the forthcoming Euros 2020.

The England international is expected to lead the country’s national team to the European competition which will start on June 11, 2021, and end on July 11, 2021. He is currently with the Three Lions of England battling to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Before the March FIFA international break, there have been raging speculations linking the striker to a move out of Tottenham Hotspur where he has been since he was a teenager.

The reports have been that the 27-year-old football star has proven to be too good to remain at Tottenham Hotspur where he has been having little or no opportunity to win major titles despite scoring double digits of goals in the last four seasons.

When the coach hired a proven coach like Jose Mourinho last season, fans of Harry Kane thought the England international would start winning titles because the Portuguese coach is known to win titles wherever he goes.

However, Mourinho has been finding it difficult to get things done at Tottenham Hotspur. They are currently out of the Europa League and are no longer Premier League title contenders. There is even no assurance that they will qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League campaign as they are currently sitting on the 6th spot on the league table with 48 points in 29 games, three points behind 4th placed Chelsea.

The only title Harry Kane still has the hope of winning at Tottenham Hotspur this season is the EFL Cup. Unfortunately for the England international, Tottenham Hotspur would have to defeat in-form Manchester City in the final on April 25 to get their hands on the cup.

Amidst all these, there are reports that Harry Kane is wanted at Real Madrid and a couple of other top European clubs including Liverpool. Hence, the football star told Telegraph recently that he is focused on his duties for England and Tottenham at the moment, not on speculations.

“It’s important that all my focus is on the two England games coming up now and the rest of the season with Spurs and then the Euros”, he said. “To be thinking about speculation or rumors would be damaging in terms of my own performance.

“I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on and have a great Euros. Look, I try to stay out of that speculation as much as possible.

“I’m fully focussed on doing the job on the pitch from now until the end of the summer, and then we’ll see where we go from there.”

Harry Kane has scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in 27 Premier League games for Tottenham so far this season. He has scored a total number of 27 goals and provided 16 assists in 40 games in all competitions this season.
