Harry Kane’s wife Katie Goodland has been spotted in the city of Munich hunting for a property amid the striker’s Bayern transfer interest.
The 29-year-old former Arsenal academy product has been strongly linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspurs this summer as he enters the last year of his current contract.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is keen on keeping the England striker, or at least chasing away English clubs (the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United) from securing his service.
Bayern Munich have been the front-runner to sign the English frontman, but the Germain powerhouse have witnessed their two bids rejected by Daniel Levy.
Kane is reportedly interested in leaving Tottenham, but two offers have fallen far short of the club’s asking price of over £100 million.
German media outlets have confirmed that his wife Katie Goodland and other family members have been spotted in Munich looking for an apartment in preparation for the striker’s move to the Bundesliga club.
According to the report, Katie has spent a few days in the city hunting for property listings and educational institutions for her children.
Harry Kane and Katie have been happily married with four kids. Ivy, Vivienne Jane, and Louis are the names of the couple’s three children.
After spending their entire lives in London, it is important to take their preferences into account while making any relocations.
Kane will have to shift his whole family and go to a strange nation with a new language and culture if he signs with Bayern Munich.
The transfer issue has been ongoing all summer, and it looks certain to increase in scope with each passing day.
Spurs new manager Ange Postecoglou has expressed his stress over the current situation.
Harry Kane linked with a shock move to Saudi Arabia
The future of England captain Harry Kane at Spurs remains uncertain, and Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are planning a surprise move for the striker.
This summer, there has been much talk about Kane perhaps leaving North London for greener pastures.
Sky Sports reports that Saudi club Al-Hilal is interested in signing Kane, so Spurs may have some competition.
The Middle East club reportedly discussed acquiring the 29-year-old through an intermediary but have not yet made an official deal with Tottenham.
While Kane is away with Spurs on their pre-season tour, speculation over his future remains at the forefront of any story involving the London team.
Bayern are still optimistic that they can complete a deal for Kane because he has expressed interest in joining the German club.
The club from the Bundesliga has already had two bids rejected by Tottenham owner Daniel Levy, the last bid is worth £70 million. Upon Spurs’ return to London, the German club is anticipated to make a third offer.
Although Bayern is highly unlikely to satisfy Tottenham’s £100 million asking price, the two sides see the potential for settlement.
He will be a free agent if Kane stays with Spurs for one more year when his current contract expires at the end of the season.
Ange Postecoglou, the new manager of Spurs, has made it clear that he isn’t at all at ease with the issue surrounding Harry Kane and wants it resolved as soon as possible.
Tottenham Hotspur’s head coach Ange Postecoglou lost his cool with a reporter over Harry Kane’s transfer saga
Ange Postecoglou did not find it amusing when a German reporter at his Tottenham press conference wore a Bayern Munich shirt featuring Harry Kane on the back.
The Spurs manager was talking to the press in Bangkok on Saturday, 22nd of July, before Sunday’s friendly against Leicester when the act was performed.
Max Schrader of BILD was the reporter who showed up to Postecoglou’s press conference wearing a Kane Bayern shirt. When Postecoglou spotted the shirt, he became enraged and said: “What can I say about that? Nothing”.
He asked Postecoglou cheekily what he thought of the new Bayern jersey that had the name “Kane” and the number “9,” before lifting it to show it to the coach: “It looks quite good, no?” Postecoglou angrily replied.
It’s safe to assume the Spurs manager was extremely unamused by the antics of the hack.
Postecoglou, who has a thunderous countenance, replied: “I don’t know what you’re talking about”.
He added; “Did you get a good laugh for it? Got what you came to get? Maybe? Very good. You came a long way for that, thank you.”
What’s next for Harry Kane?
Following the speculations surrounding the 29-year-old England International striker, Harry Kane remains positive with Tottenham as they prepare for their pre-season game against Leicester City on Sunday, 23rd of July, 2023.
