Harry Kane scored the winning goal as Tottenham Hotspur beat Wolverhampton on Saturday to become the player with the most goals for a single club since Premier League inception.
Tottenham Hotspur won Wolves by a goal on Saturday to remain unbeaten in the 2022/23 Premier League after beating Southampton 4-1 at home and drawing 2-2 away in a controversial match against Chelsea.
The England captain scored in the 64th minute to give Antonio Conte’s team the lead, ten years and two days after making his league debut.
Kane increased his goal total to 185, one more than Sergio Aguero scored for Manchester City throughout his ten seasons at the Etihad Stadium-based club.
Also, Kane scored the 1,000th Premier League goal for Spurs. Only five teams have surpassed the 1,000-goal milestone in the league since its commencement in May 1992: Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and now Spurs.
