Graham Potter, Chelsea’s head coach has claimed that his side will secure a victory against their opponent in the English Premier League this weekend and showed his personality in a fiery declaration to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

The Blues weren’t playing on a Thursday because they were getting ready to play Everton in the Premier League on the weekend, but Chelsea head coach Potter stole the show online with his cocky performance at a club event that night.

It’s hardly an exaggeration to suggest that Graham Potter is having a tough time at Chelsea. Chelsea is looking down the barrel of a dreadful season if Potter can’t supervise a turnaround quickly enough after being hired to lead the team into a new era under its new US owners.

Speaking at a club event in front of a live audience, When asked what he wanted to accomplish, the obstinate manager had an absurdly funny response, he said in a statement that read; “We will try and beat Everton, take the Champions League draw, and then we will try and win the f**cking UEFA Champions League”.

The 47-year-old England manager turned things around and got an extremely costly and fat Chelsea squad firing after a poor start and a particularly dismal 2023 that had Potter on the brink of being sacked by Chelsea.

There has been a need for the manager to demonstrate some character and toughness from the fans for quite some time, and the recent string of three victories may have saved his job because of this.

The former Brighton boss has just led his new team to three straight victories for the first time since mid-October.

Chelsea advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals at the expense of Borussia Dortmund after he led them to victories against Leeds United and Leicester City in the Premier League during a pivotal week in his career.

The Blues need to win just five games to win the European most prestigious club league.

On Thursday night, the team learned that they would find out who they would face in the last eight on Friday morning.

Their path to the final would also be laid out at that time. Potter seems ready for the challenge.

Manchester City, another English club, was also included in the draw, setting up a potential quarterfinal matchup between the Blues and City.

Besides those already mentioned, the roster is rounded out by Bayern Munich, Benfica, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Napoli.
