Giannis was present in the Leagues Cup Finals between Inter Miami and the Nashville SC, in which Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami triumphed.

The Milwaukee Bucks star showed up in the Rock & Roll capital of the world in a private plane and entered Geodis Park, in a bright mood, and was cheered by the fans of the yellow team.

The star has also interacted with fans on social media and before the final, he did show his footballing skills as well.

Giannis Antetokounmpo entered the pitch, touched the grass, then took a penalty kick with his 6′ 9″ height, and finally, scored an amazing goal from the midfield.

However, Giannis celebrated his goal and ran to the center of the field to give a ‘Siuu’ jump, the traditional Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.

Giannis Antetokounmpo went on mingling with fans of one of the newest franchises in MLS, which also played its first final in its history.

Lionel Messi didn’t see the celebration, at least at that time, but on the pitch, the Argentine showed himself by scoring the first goal of the night.

Nashville SC Fans Mocks Lionel Messi

Nashville SC, who were playing in their first-ever final, had their fans mocking Lionel Messi after his goal was canceled out.

The former PSG and Barcelona man shrugged off the ‘Siuu’ celebration by Giannis Antetokounmpo by opening the scoring in the 23rd minute.

Messi found a ball on the outskirts of the area, cut back to the left, and took an extraordinary shot that was embedded in the corner of Elliot Panicco’s frame.

However, the goal was shortlived as Nashville’s Fafa Picault equalized in the 57th minute to give the new team a little hope.

The hope was eventually dashed as they missed out on one penalty after both teams played 10 penalty kicks in the shootout.

That, however, did not stop Lionel Messi from bagging several awards at the end of the day with a trophy that made him the most decorated footballer ever.

Despite taunting from Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lionel Messi went home with two awards – the League Cup Best Player and The Top Scorer awards.
