Ronaldo was linked severally to Atlético Madrid last year but Georgina has disclosed that he never had any motive of signing for the club before the Al Nassr deal came through.
Fans of Atletico Madrid were not welcoming of the possibility of Ronaldo joining the side as they held high anti-Ronaldo banners while a friendly match was ongoing to voice out their disapproval.
And on Wednesday, the Argentine woman revealed that the deal was not in their reckoning as she said: “That option was never something he had in mind.”
She also spoke about life in Saudi Arabia. Georgina in an interview on the famous Spanish show El Hormiguero, said: “In Saudi Arabia they train later because of the climate.
“In Manchester we all got up at the same time and had breakfast together before the children went to school.
“Now I get up at 6.30am and take the kids to school before going back home and Cristiano gets up later.”
She also made her stance on her interest for football as she said she wasn’t a lover of football, she said: “I’m not into football.
“I’ve always loved ballet and started working when I was young and because of my timetables I was never able to see matches.”
Ronaldo exited Manchester United by mutual agreement in November 2022 after an uncensored interview with popular British show host, Piers Morgan.
He blamed the club for betraying him alongside acknowledging that he didn’t respect Erik Ten Hag because Ten Hag didn’t respect him.
