According to reports, Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, is expected to be among the players that would travel to Portugal with the Arsenal team for their encounter with Sporting Lisbon.

Although, it is very improbable that the Arsenal man will strut his stuff on the football pitch as he is still recuperating from injury.

Gabriel Jesus is expected to return after the International break

Gabriel Jesus is expected to be back to competitive action for Arsenal after the International break which will be from the 20th till the 28th of March.

The former Manchester City attacker has not played for Arsenal since he picked up an injury on the 12th of November in 2022, whilst he was preparing for the World Cup with Brazil.

Following his lengthy time on the sidelines, the North London side have trusted Eddie Nketiah to produce the goods in his unavailability.

Nevertheless, Mikel Arteta might soon be in control of his top attacking line-up as his team battle alongside other big guns to win the Premier League.

Gabriel Jesus was in a jubilant mood as he enjoyed his team’s amazing 3-2 victory against The Cherries on the sidelines at the Emirates Stadium, he also participated in a warm-down activity in the stadium.

This means that the Brazilian would most definitely join the team for the trip to Lisbon on Wednesday to continue his recuperation process.

Arteta would not want to gamble with the fitness of Jesus

His Spaniard manager, Mikel Arteta, would not want to rush him into the side as he wants to use this as an opportunity to blend his forward man into the side.

It is also not expected that Jesus would be in the team that would battle against Fulham at the Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Based on permutations and if everything goes according to plan, Arsenal could probably see the Brazilian in action after the International break, as an opportunity to utilize him from the Bench against Leeds United on the 1st of April could suffice.

The Seleção Canarinha man scored five goals and made six assists in the Premier League before he suffered the injury. Nketiah impressed in his first few games as his replacement, scoring four goals in his first five games.

However, his goals tally has dried up in recent months for the Englishman who has not scored in his last six league appearances for the Gunners.

In spite of all that the club has faced, Arsenal still sit at the summit of the Premier League, five points ahead of Manchester City with 12 matches still left to play.

As Arsenal push towards their first Premier League title in over fifteen years, the next few weeks promises to be a good litmus test to ascertain their title credentials.

Arsenal travel to face Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United, in addition to welcoming Chelsea to the Emirates stadium, they also host Robert De Zerbi’s giant killers Brighton and Hove Albion.

    Jesus and Jorginho funny situation

Away from Gabriel Jesus and his journey back from injury, new friend Jorginho was left in laughter as he met the forward learning how to drive with his L-plates beside a driving instructor.

The Arsenal forward is undergoing lessons with Hadley School of Motoring and he looked uncomfortable as he was caught by his teammate.

Jorginho posted a funny video of the situation to his Instagram Story.

And this was how it went, Jesus rolled down the window of the car in the car park with the Italian midfielder bursting into laughter before asking: “Gabi! What are you doing?”

Gabriel Jesus and his driving instructor saw the humorous side too, with the Arsenal forward cockily replying: “Nice car huh? Practicing, my friend. Can I practice in your car?”

A giggling Jorginho answered: “No chance mate! Good luck, good lesson.”
