    Fantasy Premier League

Fantasy Premier League is an online game in which players earn points based on the performance of real-life footballers each week. Simply put, you select a virtual team of Premier League footballers and earn points if their real-life counterparts perform well.

In the video game FPL, you take on the role of a Premier League player’s fantasy manager. The 2022–23 Premier League players you choose must score points for your team depending on their performances for their clubs in PL games. Your team must consist of 15 players from this league.

You are only allowed to spend £100m on your 15-man squad, and player prices are determined by the estimated number of FPL points they will produce.

    How are points awarded?

For goals, assists, saves, and clean sheets, players receive points.

As a reward for their strong performance in a game, players can also receive additional bonus points in Fantasy (see the Bonus Points System for more).

Your starting XI will score all of your team’s points for the gameweek or “Gameweek” of the match. However, the first man on your bench will automatically get points if a starting player does not appear for their team in that round of matches.

If two or three starters fail to show up, the same thing happens.

By picking a captain from your starting lineup, you can also increase your point total. In that Game Week, the captain’s points are doubled.
