Frenkie de Jong, Manchester United target, has proven that he is in love by proposing to his longtime girlfriend.
The 25-year-old will marry childhood sweetheart Mikky Kiemeney after the Barcelona star proposed marriage to her when they were on vacation. De Jong shared a picture of the memorable occasion on Instagram with the caption: “I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. She said yes.”
“I SAID YES,” Kiemeney said.
The soon-to-be-married pair recently shared a picture of themselves amid the highlands of Zion National Park while on vacation.
The 24-year-old has 1.5 million followers on Instagram alone and is well-known as a professional hockey player in her home country, the Netherlands.
Since she started dating De Jong, she has gained a sizable online following. They met in high school and have been together ever since.
Kiemeney has been spotted cheering on her future husband at both Ajax and Barcelona.
It’s just the beginning of what might be a very successful summer for the Netherlands star, whose transfer to Manchester United is Erik ten Hag’s primary priority. And if he moves this summer, Kiemeney will probably follow her prospective spouse to Manchester.

A midfielder for La Liga team Barcelona and the Netherlands national team, Frenkie de Jong was born in the Netherlands on May 12, 1997. He is a dynamic midfielder who excels in passing, dribbling, vision, good defensive play, and offensive skill. De Jong has often been listed as one of the top midfielders in the world of soccer.
In 2015, De Jong started his professional career at Willem II. A year later, he moved to Ajax. A sell-on clause was used to offset the symbolic charge.
