Former Premier League player was reportedly involved in a horrible crash as his car crashed into a garden wall.
Terrible clips have appeared indicating the aftermath of a crucial car collision involving Gillingham players on a quaint suburban road.
An extravagance BMW sports saloon car was revealed to be harshly destroyed as it straddled the tarmac in the pretense of a driveway with confusion strewn across the street.
The vehicle emerged to have been affected in a massive crash with a wall that exhausts the brunt of the corps as large nuggets of brick and stone were revealed to have been dislodged.
The BMW is parked in front of another vehicle on the driveway, a black Lexus SUV with wall fragments sitting on top of it.
It has been claimed that the street where the airbags of the German saloon vehicle deployed during the accident is also home to a school.
Gillingham players can be noticed standing next to the automobile while still donning their exercise kits as they examine the extent of the trauma after getting out of the car unscathed.
According to reports, the incident happened on Thursday morning, the 25th of August, with an eyewitness explaining the automobile spun around and went over the brickwork before slamming a parked car.
The Gillingham players speculated to be involved in the collision are former Crystal Palace and Wales star Jonny Williams, and teammates Timothee Dieng, Macauley Bonne, and George Lapsie.
The football players were likely on their way to or from training when the accident occurred near the League Two club’s Priestfield Stadium and Gillingham’s training facilities.
After the collision, the players are shown comforting one another with hugs, and a black Range Rover arrived on the scene.
However, Gillingham refused to comment on the incident when contacted by reporters.
A resident explained that the crashed-out car was tardily taken away, the witness also said: “It looked like everyone was okay because there were no ambulances”.
“The players got picked up by colleagues in other cars and then the driver of the BMW waited”.
“Police were there waiting for recovery, but it looks like the car has been recovered now”.
The witness added; “It looks like it’s caused a lot of damage. The neighbors are shocked. The guy who lived there was opening his curtains as it happened so he saw it”.
A police spokesperson notified reporters that Kent Police were phoned at 10:51 a.m. to a crash comprising three vehicles.
According to reports, the area where the incident happened is a road that has a school, luckily, it’s a school holiday time, hence, no other casualty was recorded.
The owner of the struck parked car and the damaged garden wall declined to comment further but did say that the driver was a nice bloke, and it was an accident.
What’s next for Gillingham?
So far this season, Gillingham have been flawless, racking up maximum points with four straight 1-0 wins and even beating Southampton 3-1 in the EFL Cup first round.
However, the club’s head coach, Neil Harris will be hoping his team can shake off the incident and perform their best on Saturday, 26th of August, against last-place Colchester United.
