Jude Bellingham has been a hot topic ahead of the January transfer window, with top European clubs queuing up in the race for the signatory of the Borussia Dortmund vice-captain.

Bellingham unsurprisingly made Gareth Southgates’ UEFA Nations League squad and played the full 90 minutes against Italy and Germany, and is more likely to make Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.

The battle for the signatory of Jude Bellingham will dominate transfer headlines, with big European football heavyweights ready to line up bids for the player.

Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Manchester United are among the top clubs in the race.

Real Madrid have reportedly told Jude Bellingham not to renew his Borussia Dortmund contract as per MARCA.

Three of their midfielders, including the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, will soon run out of contract; the Merengues are emphasizing the age factor in possible contract renewal talks.

Also, Real Madrid’s transfer policy is clear. The La Liga giants are planning on building the midfielder along youngsters who will subsequently replace the likes of Modric and Kroos.

Vinicius, Tchuoameni, and Valverde are part of the plan while the likes of Marcelo and Casemiro have left as the team hewn a part and clears the way for potential successors.

Jude Bellingham is said to be Real Madrid’s top and prime target next summer. Meanwhile, the 19-year-old has remained mute over calls by Borussia Dortmund to renew his contract, furthering the cause of suitors who are hovering around to meet his release clause next summer and sign him.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also keenly interested in the England youngster, with Pep Guardiola trying to shuffle for a potential replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, who is now 33.

Manchester United are also hoping to boost and strengthen their midfield options, with Jude Bellingham being a perfect choice given his age and potential value.

The race to sign Jude Bellingham will get hotter as the transfer window opens in January.

Amid the slew of interests laying siege at Borussia Dortmund to cart away Bellingham, former Manchester United have weighed into where he thinks Jude Bellingham could soar and where he might hit a setback.

Between Manchester United and Manchester City, Ben Forster suggested that Manchester United will be the best destination for the youngster, while Manchester City could likely turn him into another Jack Grealish.

According to Forster, Jude Bellingham will be the main man at Manchester United, playing week-in and week-out.

Forster admitted that if Bellingham moves to Manchester City, the reverse will be the case, with his game time slashed, and he will be fading as a result, just like Jack Grealish, who joined Manchester City from Aston Villa.

Speaking on his Youtube Channel, the Cyclic GK, Forster said he would like to see Jude Bellingham play in the Red colors instead of the blue stripes at Manchester City.

“For me personally, I would love to see him go to Manchester United”, Forster said.

“I think he would thrive more at Manchester United, he’d have more responsibility and I think he would enjoy it there more. I think he would know he’s the main man.

“I worry that if he went to a club like Man City he might just sort of [end up] a little like Jack Grealish. He would just fade a little bit at Manchester City. So I would love him at Manchester United; I think he would smash it.”

Meanwhile, Manchester City is convinced they are steps ahead and more likely to sign Jude Bellingham than Manchester United.

Jude Bellingham will not be open to a move in January, although bids from suitors will be expected. He will move at the end of the season. Among other clubs interested in the talented midfielder, Jude is said to be fancying a move to Real Madrid if he exits Dortmund at the end of this season.
