Gary Madine pushed the police on a high speed in his £100,000 Range Rover and ran off after smashing the Range Rover into a parking lot.

The 33-year-old player, who played for Blackpool, Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday, roared around in his Range Rover as the police followed him extensively.

Madine and his passenger left the car and ran off. The Newcastle Crown Court heard about the horrible incident after the police reported it.

The prosecutor in charge, Mark Atkins, said, “The vehicle began to make off and ignored instructions by the police to stop.”

“The police officer got into his car, followed the defendant, and activated his blue lights and siren.

“During the police pursuit, he drove dangerously. There’s footage of the pursuit from the dash cam of the police car.

However, police traced him due to the fact that he is the sole registered keeper of his car.

After he was captured and taken to court, Madine was suspended for 18 months and sentenced to six months in prison, with 250 hours of unpaid work coupled with a 12-month driving ban.

He was born on August 24, 1990, in the city of Gateshead, England. He is currently 33 years old, with a height of 6 feet and 4 inches.

The footballer attended a secondary school in Lord Lawson, Beamish Comprehensive School.

Madine started his senior career in 2007 with Carlisle United as a striker, scoring 13 goals in 66 appearances for the English club.

The striker made his debut on March 3, 2008, at the age of 17 years. He scored his first goal on August 20, 2008, which is five months after making his debut.
