FIFA Confirmed Kizz Daniel Among Performers For 2022 Qatar World Cup

    FIFA has confirmed Nigeria’s famous music superstar, Kizz Daniel as one of the performers at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha, Qatar next weekend to commemorate the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.

    Performing on a global stage such as the Qatar World Cup tournament will be another opportunity for Kizz Daniel to establish himself as one of the best Nigerian musicians.

    FIFA governing body has confirmed that the Nigerian “buga” crooner Kizz Daniel will perform live at the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup competition which will commence on the 20th of November.

    FIFA made this announcement on its official Instagram page on Friday, November 11, that Daniel will be among the five official artists for the event.

    The music concert, which is a continuation of FIFA Sound, is a sort of entertainment that is directed at consolidating the bonds between football games and music.

    No doubt this opportunity is a dream come true for the ‘Buga’ crooner following his tweet a few months ago, that he would love to perform his hit single ‘Buga’ at the Qatar World Cup.

    Meanwhile, little did he know that his wish to perform on a global stage would be granted by the FIFA ruling body.

    Kizz Daniel feels very delighted on the global stage offered to him and urged his fans to join him in making the music show a lifetime experience, he said: “When you have a dream, you’ve got to grab it and never let go. Let’s all dream together at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha and make it a once in a lifetime experience!”

    Kizz Daniel’s real name is Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe.

    The 28-year-old Abeokuta-born, Kizz Daniel is a multi-award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats, Pop, R&B singer, and songwriter.

    He initially signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013 but left the label following a contract dispute and court case before founding Fly Boy Inc record label, which launched operations in 2017.


    The “Buga” crooner is no doubt a criterion of an all-around music entertainer with his charming tone, fascinating lyrics, and engaging music beats that have been captivating millions of Nigerians and many music fans in the World.

    In FIFA’s list, Kizz Daniel is the only African music entertainer that will be performing alongside five international award-winning musicians.


    For the FIFA Fan Festival song arrangement, American DJ and Music Producer, Diplo, will perform on November 22 while Kizz Daniel’s performance will come up on November 23.


    Canadian crooner, Nora Fatehi, will mount the stage on November 29, followed by American singer, Trinidad Cardona, on December 1, while the last entertainer, Scotland’s Calvin Harris will perform on December 10.
