It was all smiles for Federico Valverde and his partner Mina Bonino as they welcomed a new born, their second child, into the family.
Words would have been not enough to convey the joy of the couple hence they shared the memorable moment in a long five minutes emotional video with a well thought-out caption.
Taking to his social media handle, Valverde poured out his boundless joy over the arrival of the new born, confessing it is the second happiest day of their lives, having waited patiently and prayerfully for the big moment.
The Uruguayan revealed the name of the child as Bauti Valverde at the end of his lyrical caption ladened with emotions.
“Second Happiest Day of Our Lives”
“The second happiest day of our lives. Welcome Bauti, You can’t imagine what we wanted this moment and the meeting with your brother. May you grow healthy and be very happy. Beni, mom and dad love you very much and will always be with you, like from the first moment we found out you were on the way. You are our best example. June 25, 2023. Bauti Valverde Bonino,” he wrote.
The carefully-staged video opens with Federico caressing and kissing Mina Bonino and Bauti while they were in bed. Then, Bauti’s elder brother, Beni, could be seen happily running towards his parents and the new born and then clinging to a warm hug with her dad Federico, as they celebrated the arrival of Bauti.
The video footage had a moving background tune, ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri.
The reason behind Federico Valverde’s show of joy and satisfaction on the birth of Bauti could not be far fetched.
Valverde clashed with Baena for making a sour remark on his unborn child
Back in April, a heated La Liga match between Real Madrid and Villarreal at Santiago saw the La Liga giants slumped to a 3-2 defeat to Villarreal.
Real Madrid were leading 2-1 before Villarreal hit two late goals in 20 minutes to turn the game on its head and leave the Santiago Bernabeu with a big win.
During the game, tensions began to simmer between the players with Federico Valverde clashing with Villarreal and Spain U-21 youth player, Alex Baena.
After the on-field clash betwen Valverde and Baena, Valverde waited at the car park for Baena and punched him in the face. Valverde’s lingering anger and confrontation of Baena at the car park was linked to a clash between the two players in January during a Copa Del Rey match between Real Madrid and Villarreal.
During the match, the Athletic reports Valverde was furious with Baena because he made a disrespectful remark on Valverde’s un-born child.
According to reports, Baena told Valverde to ”cry now that his son will not be born,” mocking Valverde that his wife Mina Bonino will not give birth to his second son.
The sour remark is said to have angered Valverde who then unleashed his anger on Baena following the La Liga home defeat to Villarreal.
Meanwhile, there were reports Mina Bonino may not likely give birth to Valverde’s second son alive due to complications in her pregnancy based on medical examination.
After reports of why Valverde Federico fought Baena filtered in, Mina Bonino took to her social media handle to narrate her ordeal
“Do I have to go out and explain myself when they told me that my pregnancy could not continue? We kept quiet for almost two months waiting for the results to find out if we could continue or not having already five months of pregnancy. The limit reaches the pain of the other person and I had enough for them to question me about the dates about the health of the child I am expecting. And despite everything, from the bottom of my heart, I don’t wish anyone to have to go through a similar situation,” Bonino said.
Having survived the pregnancy scare, Federico Valverde left no stone unturned as he celebrates the birth of Bauti, their second son in style and smiles.
Valverde was reportedly worried after the medical report on Mina Bonino’s pregnancy filtered in. Bonino, who is a sport journalist working with Real Madrid, had it tough in her first pregnancy.
According to marca, Bonino could only gave birth to their first son, Beni, after a 14-hour operation in a Madrid hospital but it appears she beat the odds and successfully delivered Bauti without cramps.
