    Erling Haaland, a Norwegian international, has had one of the best starts to a Premier League campaign ever. With 19 goals already scored this season by the 22-year-old striker, As a result, opponents are scrambling to figure out how to stop the Manchester City striker. 

    There is a petition calling for Erling Haaland to be banned from representing Manchester City after some supporters of rival teams had enough of him. 

    Before joining Manchester City during the summer transfer window, Erling Haaland scored 86 goals in 89 games for Borussia Dortmund. He also scored 21 goals in 23 caps for Norway at the international level.

    A petition to completely ban Erling Haaland from playing football has been started on the website Change by a user going by the name of “Ten Hag’s Reds.” 

    It comes after Man City humiliated their opponents in the Manchester derby on Sunday, with Erling Haaland scoring a hat-trick against the Red Devils.

    “Petition to get Erling Haaland banned from association football because it’s just not fair,” reads the title of the petition. Additionally, the petition’s creator gave a justification for doing so, calling Erling Haaland a “robot.”

    The petition’s summary reads as follows: “It’s just not fair, period. We can change things. The moment to take action is now for all of us. We shouldn’t permit this robot to exist in our country.”

    Before Erling Haaland scored twice as Man City thrashed Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday, it had already begun. The petition, which initially aimed for 100 signatures, currently has 47 signatories as of this writing.

    The petition doesn’t has a chance of stopping Erling Haaland from playing, but it does demonstrate how terrified the opposing team’s supporters are of the striker.
