Erling Haaland was subjected to regular security checks by balaclava-wearing cops leading to him needing to bring out his ID to prove his identity at a club in Marbella, Spain.

This was done during a police raid at a Costa beach club, with the superstar filmed putting his hands into his pocket to take out his ID after being surprised as he enjoyed himself at the popular hangout Playa Padre in the resort of Marbella.

This occurred after heavily armed police in riot gear were seen dashing into the beach club as a helicopter hovered overhead – in a raid that is believed to be part of “Operation Marbella”.

Reports indicate that Spanish police are conducting dramatic – but “routine” – surprise checks on venues amongst measures aimed at tackling organized crime.

Pictures of well-armed police officers mingling with swimwear-clad beach goers have become a near-frequent occurrence this summer on Marbella.

Coincidentally, Norwegian striker Haaland looks to have been unlucky as he was present in one of the random raids.

Erling and father Alfie Haaland own property in Marbella, Spain, and the former is basically recharging, as he has ample time to do so, due to Norway’s failure to qualify for the 2024 European Championship.

Whenever Erling Haaland is in the city of Marbella, Spain, he regularly spends time at the Playa Padre, where he got caught up in one of the recent raids.
