Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland took to his Instagram story recently to celebrate the birthday of his sister, Gabrielle Haaland.
Gabrielle Haaland was born on January 9, 1998, which means that she turned 23-year-old on January 9, 2022. She is the only daughter of Erling Haaland’s parents Gry Marita Braut and Alf-Inge Håland.
Not much is known about the Norwegian lady but a check on her Instagram page with over 92.8,000 followers showed that she is a member of the Norwegian military. She has a series of pictures she snapped while wearing military uniform.
Based on the pictures available on her Instagram page, she looked married to a very handsome man whose identity has not been known at the time of publishing this report.
There are conflicting reports over who is older between Gabrielle Haaland and Erling Haaland. Some platforms claimed that Gabrielle is Erling’s younger sister but the date of birth of the Norwegian lady available on the internet (January 9, 1998) proved otherwise.
This is so because the official date of birth of Erling is July 21, 2000, two years younger than the reported date of birth of Gabrielle.
However, the sure thing is that both Erling and Gabrielle have an elder brother known as Astor Haaland which means that they are three in their nuclear family.
On the Instagram story Erling Haaland created to wish Gabrielle Haaland a happy birthday, the prolific football star could be seen carrying a baby on his lap. The baby happens to be the child of her sister.
In the caption, Erling who is regarded as one of the most prolific striker in the world simply wished her sister a happy birthday and tagged her so that his followers could send her birthday wishes.
Meanwhile, the Borussia Dortmund striker took out time to wish one Roberto Santamaria a happy birthday. It is not clear whether Santamaria is the same person who plays for SD Amorebieta.
If he is the one, Santamaria is currently 36-year-old. He is a Spanish goalkeeper who was born on February 17, 1985, not in January.
Also, Erling took to his Instagram story to wish Erik Botheim a happy birthday. Botheim is a 22-year-old Norwegian striker who was born on January 10, 2000. He currently plays for Krasnodar.
