Erling Haaland has been made the main image on the front cover of FC24, the first EA Sports football game since the company left the FIFA brand.
The Record Breaker has been unveiled as the main cover star for the standard edition of the game days after Ultimate Edition Cover was blasted for having over 30 famous stars from football past and present on their cover.
EA Sports created the popular FIFA video games series, but following the expiration of their contract with world’s governing body, they created FC – same game with different title.
Erling Haaland tweeted as he unveiled the honor, saying: “Every footballer dreams of this. Proud to be on the cover for the first season of a new era @EASPORTSFC #FC24”.
FC24 is set to be released on 29th September, 2023, on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch platforms.
EA FC 24 Ultimate Edition pre-orders will get seven days early access, starting from September 22, as well as a raft of other benefits.
The game’s version will be coming with dual entitlement – so PS5 users can play on their PS4, and there is cross-platform compatibility for Xbox fans too.
