The France international was chosen to model for the luxury fashion house during Demna Gvasalia’s second couture show on Wednesday, after attending numerous fashion shows during Paris Fashion Week last month.

On the runway with him were actress Nicole Kidman, American socialite Kim Kardashian, and singer Dua Lipa.

To commemorate one of the most anticipated events on the fashion calendar, Balenciaga’s Instagram page posted a presentation of the 51st Couture Collection.

Camavinga isn’t the only footballer who has walked the runway. Former Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin made an unexpected appearance at Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton show in Paris in 2019.

Bellerin stated that he was honored to be a part of the event.

“I’d been asked before but I didn’t think it was the right time then and when I got the news that Virgil wanted me to walk for his Louis Vuitton show it was a no brainer,” the Spaniard told Vogue.

“I was on holidays but I needed to go regardless. I’m very happy [to have walked] – it felt really good.”

Balenciaga released their own ‘Soccer Sneakers’ [their words not mine] in 2020, and they slapped a hefty £595 price tag on the leather-free boots.

The ‘sneakers’ have been reworked for everyday wear rather than athletic activities, with the company’s famous branding visible on a retro foldable tongue.

Kieran Brown, a YouTuber, put the Balenciaga boots through a series of tests on his channel.

Balenciaga also released their own £612 football jersey made from mid-weight premium cotton and a stand collar a few months earlier to help “further blur the line between sportswear and streetwear-indebted luxury.”

The collection made its debut during Paris Fashion Week.

    Eduardo Camavinga

French footballer Eduardo Celmi Camavinga, who was born on November 10, 2002, competes for La Liga team Real Madrid as a midfielder. He represents the France national team and is an Angolan native.

    Early life

Camavinga was born to Congolese parents at a refugee camp in Cabinda, Angola, in 2002. His sibling count is five. At age 2, his family relocated to France. He was raised in Fougères. He used to practice judo but eventually stopped to concentrate only on football.

The Camavingas’ home was burned down in 2013 and the majority of the family’s possessions were lost; Eduardo has stated that the incident served as inspiration for him to seek a career in football.

Without mentioning it, he received the Baccalauréat ES (Economic and Social) on July 7, 2020.

Real Madrid signs Camavinga from Rennes

Eduardo Camavinga was acquired by Real Madrid from Rennes in a six-year agreement worth up to €40 million (£34.4 million).

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly among the European teams interested in signing the 18-year-old midfielder, who was regarded as one of the best prospects in French football, in July 2021.

As Camavinga entered the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 club, United began informal discussions with the teenager’s representatives. Real Madrid, though, seized the chance and signed him inside a day.

For the 35-year-old Luka Modric, who in May agreed to a one-year deal to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real sees Camavinga as a potential long-term replacement.

The 18-year-old made his France debut against Croatia in a Nations League matchup last year, making him the team’s youngest player since 1914.

    Camavings’s favorite position

Eduardo is a central midfielder who played both as a pivot and as a central midfielder for most of the games when Casemiro was out injured. He was one of the top players on the field in his most recent game, in which he played as the DM against Elche.

    How good is Eduardo Camavinga?

Camavinga has excelled in the most important competitions. For every manager, the Frenchman is the ideal midfielder. He moves with the ball quickly and powerfully, and his defensive work rate comes naturally to him. He has a natural propensity to advance the ball as rapidly as possible.
