Edouardo Camavinga, Real Madrid midfielder has opened up about his friendship with his teammate Aurelien Tchouameni.

The 20-year-old French star described his relationship with Tchouameni as “brother” and explained how he had helped him settle in the Spanish capital.

Camavinga confirmed that, before signing with Real Madrid, he discussed the potential of joining the club with Tchouameni.

Therefore, Camavinga denied any rivalry with Tchouameni even though they both played the same position.

Edouardo Camavinga said in a statement that read; “Like my brother, we talked before he joined the club, I showed him what it was like”.

Camavinga added, “We don’t talk much about competition or anything like that, if you’re better than me, you play. There’s no problem with that, I’m not going to hold it against you because you play”.

According to Camavinga, he and Tchouameni have a very positive working relationship built on trust and cooperation.

They are two of the best young players in France, and they will continue to push each other to improve at Real Madrid and beyond.

Following the departure of Casemiro, Edouardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni the driving force in Real Madrid’s midfield.

However, Aurelien Tchouameni, the 23-year-old Real Madrid player, has the kind of skill that would keep him in the starting lineup for any team, but he has been starting from the bench more often lately.

Although Tchouameni is likely to return to his fine form shortly, he is currently only a rotation option as the season enters its most crucial round.

Due to Aurelien Tchouameni’s muscle injury in January, Eduardo Camavinga was allowed to fill in at No. 6 for the team. The latter’s stellar play in the role has won over the Real Madrid coaching staff, and he may soon be given the green light to start in the position.

Edouardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni’s stats this season;

Camavinga has played in just 1041 minutes of football so far this season in 39 appearances.

Only 11 of his 39 total games played in all competitions have been as a starter. And he’s been taken out of games early a lot.

As a result, he could do better in terms of his participation, but it’s impossible to deny how much of a contribution he’s made to this team thus far this season.

Camavinga has been one of Real Madrid’s better players as of late, and he’s likely going to see more playing time shortly because of the team’s lack of consistency elsewhere.
