Eden Hazard was in attendance applauding his former club as Chelsea took on Liverpool in their 2023/2024 English Premier League campaign.
The Belgian International was seen cheering on the Blues and was noticed taking a picture with a fan in the concourse, wearing a baby blue baseball cap and a marked scraggly beard.
The former Real Madrid winger seemingly still holds the North London outfit close to his heart years after he left the Premier League club to sign for the Spanish powerhouse in the summer of 2019 in a deal reportedly worth 130 million pounds.
What happened to Eden Hazard?
Things did not go as planned for the Belgian International winger after moving to the 14 times UEFA Champions League-winning club.
After his move to Real Madrid, Eden Hazard struggled with several injuries and a lack of proper form, which led supporters and reporters to assault the former Lille player as one of the club’s worst-ever acquisitions.
Due to injury, the 32-year-old recorded just seven goals in 76 appearances for the Spanish La Liga club and failed to emulate the form he showed at Chelsea
As a result, at the end of last season, he departed Real Madrid this summer after the club terminated his contract. He is now a free agent and he’s already being strongly linked with a potential move to a new club.
His four years at the Bernabeu were derailed by injuries, and Hazard is yet to sign with a new team. As a result, there is growing gossip that he would give up football completely due to his fitness problems.

With 110 goals in 352 games for the club and four Player of the Year victories, Hazard, who was arguably the best player in the Premier League for much of his time in England, is still a beloved figure at Stamford Bridge.
Some hopeful Blues supporters even indicated that he might still be able to contribute to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
What’s next for Eden Hazard?
What Hazard’s football career will entail in the future is yet uncertain. He showed up to watch his old club amidst reports that he would soon find a new club to continue with his career.
According to AS USA, Hazard is being given three alternatives for a new club. He could move to Saudi Arabia or Brazil if he choose to this summer.
Hazard is rumored to be considering retiring in the future, despite being still relatively young in terms of age.
Amidst that, he could join the MLS with the Vancouver Whitecaps of Canada rumored to be interested in him.
