Eden Hazard’s stint with Real Madrid has seen the highly-rated forward slip off the pecking order. He has struggled to break into the team’s lineup.

Under Carlo Ancelotti’s reign, Real Madrid have invested heavily on youngsters like Vinicius Jr and Aurelien Tchouameni, who have established themselves in Los Blancos’ squad.

Real Madrid’s transfer policy has seen players like Eden Hazard and Nacho Fernández struggled to find their bearing at the club. The likes of Casemiro and Marcelo had to leave for better game time.

As things stand, Eden Hazard’s is off the Los Blanco’s plan following an unproductive spell with the club.

In his three years with the club, he has battled with injury and has been reduced to cameo appearances off the bench. Since joining the team, Eden Hazard has played only 73 games for Real Madrid, managing only 7 goals.

After a brilliant spell with Chelsea in London, Hazard is hitting the lows of his career and was compelled to call time on his international career after Belgium exited the 2022 World Cup in the group stages.

In the midst of his dwindling career in Europe, there were reports linking him to a move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi outfit were reportedly keen on signing the 32-year-old Belgian.

The move could see him meet his former boss at Lille Rudi Garcia, including former Real Madrid and Man United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rudi Garcia, who is currently Al-Nassr manager previously worked with Hazard for four years at Lille.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in a highly-publicized move that saw the Portuguese earn a whooping £173million yearly.

Rumors linking Eden Hazard to Al-Nassr has been confirmed with El Chiringuito, sharing clips of the Real Madrid star meeting Al-Nassr boss Rudi Garcia.

Eden Hazard is believed to have discussed a possible move to the Saudi club after meeting the former Lille boss, with clips showing him accompanying Rudi Garcia to his office during the visit.

Al-Nassr are one of the biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia and their financial strengths are undisputable after successfully brokering an unprecedented world-record deal with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard has a year remaining in his contract with Real Madrid, and there are no talks between him and Real Madrid for a possible renewal.

According to reports, Real Madrid will be happy to get Eden Hazard off their payroll after his disappointing spell at the club.
