Dundee United have completed the signing of midfielder Richard Odada from Major League Soccer Franchise Philadelphia Union for an undisclosed fee.
Odada has signed a two-year deal with the Scottish giants, which will keep him at the club until 2026, with a club-held option of an additional year, meaning he could remain with The Terrors until 2027.

Confirming the acquisition of Richard Odada, Dundee United put out a lengthy statement on their website which partly read:
“Dundee United are delighted to announce the signing of Richard Odada from MLS Eastern Conference side Philadelphia Union on a permanent transfer.”
Moreover, the deal is subject to both international and Scottish Football Association clearance.
Odada becomes Dundee United’s 9th signing this summer, having already secured the services of Ryan Strain, Kristijan Trapanovski, David Babunski, Will Ferry, Vicko Sevelj, Dave Richards, and Jort van der Sande.
The Scottish club also acquired goalkeeper Jack Walton on loan from Championship side Luton Town.
Dundee United won the 2023/24 Scottish Championship, finishing at the summit of the log with 75 points from 36 matches.
Their stellar display in the second division earned them promotion to the Scottish Premiership, where they will be competing amongst the top teams in Scotland.
