Diogo Dalot and his gorgeous partner Claudia Pintos Lopes are expecting their first child together as revealed by the couple on Instagram.
The Portugal international posted the news on social media on Monday morning with the caption: “The best gift we could ever wish for.”
“We can’t wait to meet you,” Dalot concluded in a post he shared on his personal Twitter account on July 9th, 2023 just before midnight.
Following the announcement, Dalot got responses from his followers as well as football lovers, congratulating him on the news.
Some of his Manchester United teammates also commented their well wishes with Alex Telles commenting with several heart emojis and Antony sent Dalot clapping emojis.
Diogo Dalot also saw fellow Portugal international Otavio comment with: “Parabens irmao,” which means ‘congratulations brother’.
Casemiro and Luke Shaw’s WAGs also sent their congratulations to the couple too, with more well wishes expected to come the way of the right-back.
United players will come back in numbers depending on their involvement in the Nations League games for their respective countries, at the back end of the season.
Diogo Dalot, however, is yet to return, due to his participation in the aforementioned competition.
The 24-year-old defender had a year to remember both on and off the pitch and the good news just keeps on coming.
Dalot confirmed his engagement to his partner, Cláudia Pinto Lopes, back in March following his break into the United first team and playing at the World Cup.
And now he and his partner Claudia has now shared lovely images of themselves as they expect their first child as a couple.
The post included a photo of the happy couple who are set to become parents for the first time.
Diogo Dalot is going to play a vital role under Erik ten Hag this season after he did enough to impress the Dutch coach, last season.
