Diego Simeone Son’s Giuliano Simeone suffered a horrible leg injury after a devastating tackle. It was so severe that an ambulance rushed into the field to take the youngster to the hospital.
The Atletico Madrid star collapsed in agony while he was playing in a friendly match on loan for Alaves against another Spanish side, Burgos, on August 7, 2023.
The player was tripped on the right touchline in the 86th minute of the match. The Burgos player, Jose Matos, who launched the horrible tackle, was booked, but the Alaves players were more concerned about the health situation of Simeone.
After the incident, Simeone teammates signaled for the medical staff to rush to the aid of the youngster, who was in severe pain lying on his back.
He kept his left leg raised, with his foot at a bent angle. Simeone’s teammates were in shock, with some holding their heads in their hands.
The Medical staff called the Ambulance to come in time to take the Roma-born player away as the match was suspended. While the Ambulance was leaving, the player was clapped off the field by his teammates and the spectators.
He is expected to miss half of the 2023–24 season. However, the extent of Simeone’s injury had not been revealed.

The player had also received eight yellow cards and one red card. Out of the 12 goals scored, nine were for Real Zaragoza and three for Atletico Madrid.
Simeone has not made a single appearance for his national team, Argentina. Although, in the future, he is likely to play for the country and probably win silverwares.

The striker was born on December 18, 2002, in the city of Rome, Italy, while his father, Diego Simeone, was playing for Serie A giant Lazio. He is the third son of Diego Simeone’s family.
His two brothers are Giovanni and Gianluca. Giovanni was born on July 5, 1995, and plays as a striker for Serie A club Napoli, while Gianluca plays as a center forward for Tudelano.
Giuliano started his career at River Plate. In September 2019, he moved to Atletico Madrid B. He made his debut for the club on January 17, 2021, scoring on his debut.
He scored three extra goals before his club suffered relegation. However, he made his senior debut for Atletico Madrid on April 20, 2022.
